Lori Shirley - East Director
I am the Director at Grand Beginnings East. I graduated from IUP in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development/Family Relations. I live in Homer City with my husband, Todd, and our children, Eric and Beth. Grand Beginnings is so much more than just my job, it is my passion. I cannot imagine myself anywhere else. The children are what makes my job so special. When I see their smiling faces or I see them finally accomplish something they have been working on, I can’t help but smile. Please feel free to call and set up a tour to see our Center. I believe that open communication between parents, teachers and directors is so important. My door is always open to you.

Danielle Fornwalt - West Director
My name is Danielle Fornwalt, I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, obtaining my degree in Child Development and Family Relations. For the past 4 years I was the Toddler 1/Preschool 2 teacher at Grand Beginnings Children’s Center East, over the past 26 years I have been in a variety of childcare settings, allowing me the opportunities to watch our children grow, play and learn how to become amazing for our future. I am married to my husband Chuck, with two children Aaron (17) and Charlee (5). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking walks, and going on vacations. My favorite spot is Ocean City, Maryland. I look forward to continuing to be part of the Grand Beginnings family as your Director of the West location. Thank you for my opportunity to grow.
